1. Our "Data Neutrality" Principle

Unlike consumer-grade dashcam providers, SelectCam AI does not collect, store, or access the business-critical data generated by your fleet.

No Access to Telematics

We do not collect GPS coordinates, vehicle speed, G-sensor metrics, or AI-driven driver behavior metadata.

No Access to Video

We have no access to video footage or snapshots captured by the devices.

Direct Integration (No Middleman)

Our hardware (DC10, DC20, M8, etc.) is designed for Direct Integration. Data is transmitted directly from the device to your designated server or platform (e.g., via API to flespi, Wialon, or proprietary systems). We do not utilize intermediate servers for data forwarding, eliminating "Man-in-the-Middle" risks.

2. Device Management & Firmware (Singapore Infrastructure)

To ensure peak hardware performance and security, we provide a Device Management Platform (DMP):

Purpose

Exclusively for remote firmware updates (OTA), parameter configuration, and hardware diagnostics.

Hosting & Sovereignty

Our default DMP is hosted on secure, high-availability servers in Singapore to comply with international data protection standards.

On-Premise Deployment

For clients with strict data residency requirements, we offer Private Server Deployment. This allows you to host the DMP on your own infrastructure, ensuring total data sovereignty.

AI event detection occurs locally on the device (at the "Edge"), minimizing the need for raw data transmission and enhancing privacy.

SelectCam AI operates in alignment with the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (USA) principles of data minimization. Since we do not process your fleet's operational data, your primary rights regarding that data remain directly with your chosen telematics platform provider.
